Tardi's Ristorante Italiano is a family-run Italian restaurant at 931 Fischer Boulevard in Toms River's Bellcrest Plaza. The kitchen prepares Italian appetizers and entrées to order, with daily specials alongside the regular menu. The veal section is the largest, with Marsala, Francaise, Sorrentino, Pizzaiola, Saltimbocca, Milanese and Parmigiana preparations, while the meat dishes include Steak Fiorentine, Pork Chop Murphy and Sirloin Steak Giambotta. Seafood ranges from lemon sole and Sole Marachiara to Zuppa di Pesce and a catch of the day at market price. Entrées are served with a house salad, and the menu states that substitutions are not made. Desserts include homemade cannoli, tartufo, tiramisu, spumoni and both New York and Italian cheesecake.
