About
Liu's Kitchen serves Chinese dishes and a separate sushi menu from its Route 88 location in Brick. Customers can order online for pickup or delivery, and gift cards are available.
The Chinese side of the menu follows a familiar takeout layout: fried rice; lo mein, udon, chow fun and mai fun; chow mein, chop suey, egg foo young, sweet and sour and moo shu dishes; then sections for beef, chicken, pork, seafood and vegetables. A Chef's Special section lists Happy Family, Four Seasons, Butterfly Shrimp, Lake Tung-Ting Shrimp and Seafood Delight. Steamed dishes come with a choice of brown or garlic sauce and brown or white rice, and spicy items are marked with a pepper icon.
The sushi menu is long. Sushi and sashimi are sold two pieces per order, and rolls are grouped by fish (tuna, salmon, shrimp, yellowtail and crab), with a vegetable section that includes avocado peanut, oshinko and sweet potato rolls. Naruto rolls are wrapped in cucumber instead of rice. Named signature rolls include the Green Dragon, Rainbow, Spider and Lion King, alongside a 'Travel Collection' (one of them is the Brick roll) and a 'Car Collection' of sashimi rolls named after makes such as Porsche and Maserati. Combo boxes come with miso soup or a soda, and Sushi for Two and the Love Boat are built for sharing.
Orders placed through the restaurant's own ordering site earn 2 points per dollar that can be redeemed at checkout, and a no-contact delivery option can be chosen there. Free delivery and card payments each carry a $15 minimum, and the restaurant is also on DoorDash, Grubhub and Uber Eats. Posted hours are 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and noon to 10:30 p.m. on Sunday; the restaurant is closed Tuesdays.
