Manera's Restaurant is a chef-owned spot at 950 Cedar Bridge Avenue in Brick. Dishes are prepared fresh to order from a broad menu, and the Brick location lists online ordering along with private-event rooms and catering. A second Manera's location operates in Manahawkin.
The Brick dining room is closed Mondays. It opens at noon the rest of the week, closing at 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and on Sunday, and at 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Tables can be booked through OpenTable, takeout can be ordered online, and the restaurant sells gift cards and posts a separate holiday menu.
The dinner menu is divided into appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches and burgers, steaks and chops, pasta, seafood, chicken and sides, with prices printed next to each dish. Examples include oysters on the half shell, shrimp bisque, rack of lamb, a seafood medley and lemon chicken; the NY strip steak is listed at $36 and the pistachio-encrusted salmon at $34. Lunch and kids' menus are offered as well.
An early bird menu runs Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Each entrée comes with a house salad or the soup of the day, plus coffee or tea and dessert, and a Caesar salad, French onion soup or arugula and pear salad can be substituted for an added charge. Early bird entrées are listed from $17 for eggplant parmesan with linguine to $26 for panko veal saltimbocca, with choices such as herb-encrusted cod, a grilled pork chop, flat iron steak and mussels and calamari fra diavolo.
