Miss Mindy's is an ice cream shop on Atlantic City Boulevard in Bayville. The menu includes homemade ice cream in everyday and rotating flavors, plus dairy-free and no-sugar-added choices. A six-flavor sampler is available, and the shop also takes inquiries about party packages.
The shop says all of its hard ice cream, dairy-free ice cream and flavored ice is made on the premises. The everyday list includes Vanilla Bean, Cherry Vanilla, Black Raspberry Chip, Lavender Honey, Butter Pecan, Coffee, Sweet Cream, Mint Chocolate Chunk and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, plus a vegan chocolate peanut butter. Vanilla, chocolate and twist soft serve are poured as well, along with Dole soft serve. New flavors are announced on the shop's social media pages.
The to-go case carries ice cream cakes in 6-inch heart, 6-, 8- and 10-inch rounds and a 9x13 sheet, made in vanilla or chocolate with a fudge-and-crunch center; hard ice cream layers cost extra, and custom cakes need at least two days' notice. There are Oreo and chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches filled with soft serve, sold singly or by the six-pack, with advance orders needed for specific combinations or more than a dozen. Ice cream pies come in Oreo, Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, Heath Bar and Apple Streusel, and doggie cups pair vanilla soft serve with peanut butter sauce and mini Milk-Bones.
Hours are noon to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and noon to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The website has an online ordering page, party packages are arranged by email, and the shop took part in the 2024 NJ Ice Cream Tour.
