Bridal work has been offered on LBI since 2009, according to the site. Hair and makeup trials are optional but encouraged, ideally one to three months before the wedding; a complimentary consultation (discussion only) is available instead. A date is held only after a signed contract and a non-refundable $100 booking fee, payable in cash or check, are received. Changes or cancellations must be made in writing at least 90 days ahead, and final timelines are set three months before the event.
The salon asks clients to arrive with clean, dry hair that has not been flat ironed, and charges extra if hair needs washing first. Credit card payments carry a 3% surcharge, debit cards excepted, and gratuity is not included.
